Answer: We have to find the value of x for the given value of y:

[tex]y=-8x-25[/tex]

For the following we have:

[tex]y=-81[/tex][tex]\begin{gathered} -81=-8x-25 \\ \therefore\rightarrow \\ -8x=-81+25=-56\rightarrow x=\frac{-56}{-8}=7 \\ \therefore\rightarrow \\ x=7 \end{gathered}[/tex]
