At the supermarket a 7.5-pound bag of beans costs $4.80. What is the cost per ounce of the beans?

1. Convert the pounds to ounces

7.5(16)= 120

2. Divide cost by oz

4.8/120= 0.04

0.04 cents is the cost per ounces of the beans.
