Let:

(x1,y1)=(6,3)

(x2,y2)=(2,-9)

[tex]\text{slope}=m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}=\frac{-9-3}{2-6}=\frac{-12}{-4}=3[/tex]

Using the point-slope equation:
