Solution :-

Side of a square=12cm

As we know that in a square

[tex]{\boxed{\sf Area=(side)^2 }}[/tex]

  • Substitute the values

[tex]\LARGE\longrightarrow\sf Area=(12)^2 [/tex]

[tex]\LARGE\longrightarrow\sf Area=144cm^2 [/tex]

[tex]\therefore\sf Area=144cm^2 [/tex]
